SOBRE

Criado em 1989, o LAGOA é um laboratório que congrega atividades relacionadas à geoquímica orgânica molecular, a petroleômica e a química ambiental. O laboratório é acreditado pela Agência Nacional de Petróleo, Gás e Biocombustíveis (ANP) e realiza parcerias com empresas e grupos de pesquisas, com foco em caracterização molecular de matrizes complexas e interpretação geoquímica de petróleo e amostras ambientais, avaliação da qualidade do petróleo, poluição ambiental e derramamento de óleo no mar.

Caracterização a nível molecular do petróleo, uma das misturas orgânicas mais complexas do mundo e de grande valor econômico.

Geoquímica Orgânica Molecular

Utilização de biomarcadores fósseis em estudos de origem biogênica ou antropogênica de matéria orgânica em diferentes matrizes.

Caracterização de biocombustíveis, derivados e biomassa

Análise qualitativa e/ou quantitativa de componentes individuais,  com foco em hidrocarbonetos e  compostos polares de amostras brutas.

Caracterização de matrizes complexas

Determinação dos componentes orgânicos de amostras através de técnicas cromatográficas acopladas a espectrometria de massas e espectrometria de massas de ultra-alta resolução.

Caracterização geoquímica de óleos e rochas

Avaliação geoquímica de petróleos e rochas reservatórios quanto à origem, maturação e grau de biodegradação, através do estudo da composição qualitativa e quantitativa de biomarcadores.

Análise Isotópica de Carbono

Determinação de delta de carbono 13 em análises de substâncias orgânicas individuais oriundas de matrizes fósseis e biocombustíveis.

Tem experiência na área de Química, com ênfase em caracterização química molecular de petróleos e bio-óleos, na Geoquímica, Análise de Traços e Química Ambiental, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Cromatografia e Espectrometria de Massas aplicadas em diversas áreas como Geoquímica Orgânica, Biologia, Biogeoquímica, Geoquímica de Petróleo, Energia Renovável, dentre outros. Trabalhou por quatro anos como substituta eventual na coordenação do Programa de Pós-graduação em Química Orgânica. Pesquisador permanente do Programa de Pós-graduação em Química (anteriormente denominado de Programa de Pós-graduação em Química Orgânica) do Instituto de Química/UFRJ. Participou como professor colaborador do Programa de Pós-graduação em Sistemas Petrolíferos da PEC/COPPE/UFRJ por 10 anos, 2004-2014. Editora Associada da revista Química Nova por 6 anos, Outubro 2008-Novembro 2014 . Revisor de periódicos internacionais como Analytical Chemistry, Organic Geochemistry, Fuel, Energy and Fuel, Journal of Chromatography A, Science of the Total Environment, Atmospheric Environment, Anais da Academia Brasileira de Ciência, Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of Geophysical Research. Em 2008 realizou intercambio científico Brasil-Alemanha no Instituto de Estudos do Mar Báltico - IOW da Universidade de Rostock, Warnemuende. Coordenadora de diversos projetos científicos financiados pelo Cenpes/Petrobras. Orientou 17 alunos de doutorado e 29 alunos de mestrado, 7 pós-doutores, 11 alunos em trabalho de conclusão de curso de graduação e 12 de Iniciação Científica. Indice H de 25 na base de dados Scopus e na Web of Knowledge. Cientista do Nosso Estado - Edital FAPERJ 2014. Participou da equipe olímpica durante os XXXI Jogos Olímpicos e XV Jogos Paralímpicos no LBCD-LADETEC, em 2016. É hoje Diretora Secretária da Sociedade Brasileira de Espectrometria de Massas (BrMASS), período 2017-2019 e Cientista do Nosso Estado - Edital FAPERJ 2017. Mais de 100 trabalhos científicos publicados.
