Our mission is the search for knowledge and its application in the phenomenons, human ingenuity products and to control and improve the world we live in. Our ceasless pursuit is based on research, development and inovation, applying organic molecular analysis tools and their application. Given our academical sphere, this operation has a special commitment to intrinsic quality, but also to the dissemination of formal quality assurance principles in the Academy and, particularly, training of personnel of every level of education and applications in chemistry.

Our vision is to achieve self-sufficiency of our research and to be able to reuturn to the University and to the Brazilian society, as best as we can, all the invesments and the faith given to us. We want to become a worldwide reference in various fields of chemstry analisis, to assist academic and industrial researches, and to promote the development of our country, always prioritizing the thrive of our students and staff, who will be the drivers of a better future.

LADETEC is the connection port between the University and the outside world, providing technical services and performing the highest quality research, employing and training skilled labor. Chemistry is not always recognized for its ability to transform the world for the better. The performance of Ladetec helps to change the perception of the general public about the role of chemistry in our society and is essential for the institutional mission of the Institute of Chemistry of acting in the country’s development process.
